Hi I'm Vasilios Tsalkos, a passionate local advocate dedicated to empowering our community from within. 

Growing up in Reservoir, I developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant community organizations, having actively participated in many of them.

As a proud member of a Greek migrant family, I take great pride in organizing the largest celebration of Greek culture outside of Greece, the Lonsdale Street Greek Festival, “Antipodes.” 

Celebrating our community's rich history and diverse heritage is crucial to me, and I'm committed to ensuring that council policies benefit all residents.

I believe that Darebin Council should be an inclusive place for everyone, and together, we can make that vision a reality.
