Geraldine Wood for North West Ward

Hi, I’m Geraldine. Having spent my entire life in the Reservoir and Preston area, I am proud to call Darebin my home. 

My family has been rooted here for multiple generations, and raising my three adult children in this vibrant community has deepened my appreciation for all that Darebin has to offer.

From our exceptional kindergartens and child care centres to our dynamic sports clubs, I have experienced firsthand the incredible community groups that make Darebin such a wonderful place to live. 

My passion lies in improving Darebin's facilities to ensure well-maintained and accessible spaces for all residents, not just those below Bell Street.

I believe in the power of a responsive local government that listens to and addresses the specific needs of our community.
